Kiski Area North Primary PTO
The Kiski North Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is composed of family members of students and faculty members. Our primary mission is to enhance our students’ learning experiences and this comes in a variety of ways.
We organize and sponsor some of your child’s most memorable elementary school experiences. This includes Field Trips, Book Fairs, Dance-A-Thon, Santa’s Workshop, the Art Show, Assemblies, Class Parties & Field Day… to name a few! The Kiski North PTO is an invaluable resource for our students, as well as our teachers. We have a large student population, and thus require a robust group of volunteers! Please join the PTO and join the fun!

KISKI NORTH PTO VOLUNTEER CLEARANCE & MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
The Kiski North PTO requires ALL new members to obtain new clearances for the 2023/2024 school year. The request date on the clearances must be within 2023-2024. To get started with this process please print/sign/return the Volunteer Affidavit by clicking here. After completing the Affidavit please continue to the clearances listed below.
To comply with the newly implemented state law, ALL school volunteers will be required to maintain three current clearances and renew them every 60 months:
1) PA State Police Criminal Record Check (free for volunteers)
2) PA Child Abuse History Clearance (free for volunteers)
3) FBI Criminal Background Check (fingerprints or affidavit)

*The FBI Criminal Fingerprint Background Check is only necessary if you have NOT been a resident of the state of Pennsylvania for at least 10 consecutive years. If you HAVE been a PA state resident for 10 or more consecutive years, you MUST sign & return the Act 153 Volunteer Affidavit.
When you receive your clearances from the state, please send a COPY to the school, along with your PTO Membership Forms and the $5 Membership Fee.
Once your clearances and membership forms are submitted, please allow a (2) week processing period. You will be notified via email when you are cleared and able to volunteer within the school.
You WILL NOT be permitted to volunteer in the school in any capacity unless ALL (3) current clearances are on file AND you are a paid PTO member. Your contact information will be added to our ‘sign-up’ master roster during the processing of your clearances and membership paperwork.
